Haiti: Update from Pastor Prophete

Pastor Prophete, with whom we are partnering with in Haiti and both Teams worked with, recently released this update on his website.  Please continue to pray for the ministry in Haiti and for the supplies to help the Haitians.  Donations will help this ministry in Haiti.  In addition, we hope to have trips up to apply for by the end of the week. The massive exodus of the Port-au-Prince dwellers that escape from the quake fate has caused a tremendous burden on the mission. Most people in Haiti are afraid to sleep under the concrete roof. They handed out 20 gallons of soup and ran out while people were still waiting to eat. The team has also started building relationships with the people and listening to their stories of looking for relatives or simply sitting with...

Haiti Update: Team One Departs Jimani

Hey all, just wanted to let you know that our team (Sam Borg, Marcia Borg, and I) – Mitch departed early with a different team to fly home – left Jimani this morning after dropping off a load of supplies from a very full jeep.  We bought in groups of seven: seven propane tanks, seven stove tops, seven sets of food and clothes, and other things for seven pastors who have heard the same word from God that Miguel has heard.   We believe that the Lord is raising up pastors who will become fathers to the people of Haiti.  We poured all we had into this vision, we felt...
