With Spirits high and droopy eyes it’s 10:52 and everyone is officially aslep. It took us 2 1/2 hours to get to our ministry location. On the way we drove past the three pillars of power in Haiti: the presidential palace, the state catholic church and senate which all had collapsed during the earth quake. We also had a chance to see the down town area that was devistated. Several parts of the ride were quiet in contemplation.
WHen we arrived in carfuee, we were met by a down pour of rain. The 5 min. hike to pastor Davids house was an adventure. After finding a few squares of floor to call our own this week, we enjoyed an amazing dinner prepared by the pastors wife. A brief orientation and time of prayer and worship got us ready to get some rest.
