Wow, time flies! We can’t believe that we only have 2 more days of ministry left here in Haiti – there seems to be so many things that God is showing us that need to be done and so little time to do it in! Today we did another medical clinic at the local church and VBS at the orphanage.
One highlight was that we were able to buy 47 mattresses for the orphanage –
check out the video on this blog. The kids response was better than Christmas morning.
This afternoon we were able to do a “food drop” at a church in a local tent city. This was a little scary for us as we have heard many stories of trucks carrying supplies being jumped and even people being killed on these drops. But God was with us from beginning to the end and we were never in harm’s way.
We handed out 180 bags of rice and beans, and oil to cook them in. We got to pray for each and every person before and after they received the food! It was an awesome experience! Praise God!!
We end our day feeling a lot of spiritual warfare going on around us. Many of you probably have heard that pastor Scott is not feeling well. As I write this he is sound asleep. (This is Clint: I checked in with Scott this morning, he is giving the Lord credit for the healing from the vomiting and a stress fracture he was struggling with yesterday in his right foot… Our God Reigns!).
Keep lifting all of us up in your prayers – tonight (Friday) we have a crusade planned and it seems the devil is trying any and every way to get us down and keep it from happen.
Eph 6:12 “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual
forces of evil in the heavenly realms”.
Please pray for us today that we’ll out on the fill armor if God so that we will be prepared! God bless!!
