Radio Interview at the Haitian Border with AIM Representative

Miguel Santiago, Adventures missionary on the ground on the Island of Hispaniola, caught up with Chris Fabry of Moody Radio – right before he crossed the border into Haiti.  Miguel has already made connections in Haiti and helped a woman give birth, right in the aftermath of the Quake.  Highlights from the interview here:

Chris Fabry of Moody Radio interviewed our Adventures Dominican missionary, Miguel Santiago minutes before he crossed into Haiti. He and one other missionary piled on two, 100 pound Alpine packs full of food and supplies and crossed over. As the dust still hangs in the air, the wounded and hundreds of refugees pour into the Dominican Republic.

The central hub of the nation of Haiti has completely collapsed.  And while a lot of the mess of Port-au-Prince will eventually be restored – the outlying towns may remain ruined forever, unless someone helps.  Our goal is to find the pockets of outliers who may not have access to the help they need.

The hope is by the end of Saturday to have a contingency plan.
