AIM staff members Seth and Clint just returned from Haiti with amazing stories about what God is doing there. If you’ve followed any of the YMATH blogs, you’ve been able to see some of the hope that has arisen in what we knew as “the most impoverished country in the western hemisphere” prior to the devastating earthquake.
But the Haitian church is telling a different story.
What was supposed to be a week full of despair and mourning was transformed into a week of dancing in the streets and worshiping Jesus as the country fasted and prayed for Haiti’s rebirth.
The process of re-building Haiti will be long and tedious one. It will go beyond meeting mere physical needs. The Body of Christ in Haiti is spiritually hungry, and we have an opportunity to join God in what he is doing there.
